SaidSo joined but I didn't get a welcome message.

The welcome message may be delayed by a few seconds. If it doesn't arrive within a minute, try sending .help to 815-572-4376 directly to confirm SaidSo is active.

Make sure .deal appears in the group text that includes SaidSo. Sending it in a separate thread won't work. Try sending .deal again — if no response within 2 minutes contact hello@saidso.co.

The summary has wrong information.

Send .edit and describe what should change, then send .deal again for a revised summary. SaidSo will regenerate using the full conversation context.

The other party isn't receiving messages.

Confirm they haven't replied STOP to SaidSo previously. If they have, they can text START to 815-572-4376 to re-enable messages.

Some messaging apps strip the leading dot when it's the only character on a line. Try typing “sending .deal” or “..deal” instead. Both work the same way.

Can I use SaidSo on WhatsApp or Messenger?

Not yet — SaidSo works over standard SMS/MMS group texts today. WhatsApp and Messenger integration are on the roadmap.

Is my agreement legally binding?

SaidSo creates a clear, timestamped record that both parties confirmed. While it's not a formal legal contract, it provides strong evidence of what was agreed. For high-value transactions, consult a lawyer.

How long are records kept?

Agreement records are kept indefinitely and accessible via your shareable link.

What is SaidSo Intel?

SaidSo Intel lets you look up information about any phone number before or during a deal. You'll see the line type (mobile, VoIP, landline), the carrier, and the name associated with the number in carrier records.

What is SaidSo Intel Plus?

Intel Plus includes everything in Intel plus a check for recent number reassignment, SIM swap activity, and call forwarding status — additional signals that help assess whether a number is trustworthy.

Why might the name be wrong?

Intel name data comes from carrier billing records and reflects the account holder, not necessarily the person using the phone. Family plans, business accounts, and prepaid phones often show different names. SaidSo cannot modify carrier records. If you believe your carrier records are incorrect, contact your carrier directly.

Can the other party see my Intel request?

If you run .intel in a group text, the message is visible in the thread but the result is sent privately to you only. For fully private lookups, text SaidSo directly at 815-5SA-IDSO (+1 815-572-4376).

How many Intel lookups can I run?

You can run up to 20 Intel lookups per 24-hour period. Each lookup costs 1 credit (Intel) or 2 credits (Intel Plus). Running the same number twice within 24 hours returns the cached result at no charge.

Why is my own number showing wrong info?

Your Intel data reflects what your carrier has on file. Common reasons for unexpected results include family plan ownership, recent number porting, or prepaid account registration. Contact your carrier to update their records.

⚠️ Commands not being recognized

Make sure you're texting the SaidSo number directly or in a group that includes 815-572-4376. Commands only work in threads where SaidSo is a participant.

⚠️ Messages show as undelivered

If you're seeing delivery failures, the number may have opted out. Text START to 815-572-4376 to re-enable.

⚠️ Wrong phone showing as deal initiator

The person who first adds SaidSo to the thread is recorded as the initiator. This cannot be changed after the thread starts.

⚠️ Agreement confirmed but can't find the link

The confirmation link was sent via text at the time of confirmation. Check your message history with 815-572-4376. You can also find all your deals at https://app.saidso.co.
